Overview
Use the care label to choose hand wash, delicate wash or professional care; secure hooks and use a mesh bag, but machine-wash only when allowed.
Tools needed
- Laundry mesh bag
- Delicates-suitable mild detergent
- Clean basin

Cleaning steps
Read label and sort
Sort by colour, material, underwire and trim; confirm permitted washing and drying.
Secure and bag
Close bra hooks and arrange straps; use a suitable mesh bag only when machine washing is allowed.
Prepare a gentle wash
Use the product-label amount of a delicates-suitable cleaner and do not mix bleach or other products.
Wash without pulling
Use the approved hand or gentle cycle, press lightly, and avoid brushing lace, twisting wires or pulling straps.
Rinse and blot
Rinse thoroughly, support the garment and press in a dry towel; never wring cups or elastics.
Reshape and air-dry
Reshape cups, straps and garment, then dry flat or as labelled in shade with ventilation; avoid high heat.
