- First confirm a safe way out and the emergency control location.

- Extinguish flames; only if safe open doors and windows and close the valve; leave by stairs if uncertain. Stop for any abnormality and notify the employer or gas supply company.
If something happens
For a serious or uncertain leak, leave by stairs and call 999 and the gas supplier from safety; do not reuse gas before inspection.
