What is it?
A microfibre cloth is made from fine synthetic fibres, but colour, softness or weave alone cannot reliably confirm the material.
How to identify it
Check the package, care label or product information for microfibre, microfiber or the material description. Appearance is only supporting evidence.

Common confusion
A microfibre cloth is usually soft and foldable; a scouring pad has a visibly rough abrasive layer.

Storage
