How to Clean a Blender or Juicer
Unplug, wash listed food-contact parts, keep blades still, and keep the motor base dry
Overview
Blenders and juicers combine sharp blades with an electrical motor base. Switch off, unplug, and wait for every moving part to stop. Remove only containers, lids, screens, or blade assemblies listed as user-removable, never grip a cutting edge, and never immerse the motor base.

- Exact model manual
- Soft non-abrasive sponge
- Small soft cleaning brush
- Mild dish soap used as labelled
- Wrung soft cloth
- Dry towel
Cleaning steps
Switch off, unplug, and stop movement
Switch off, unplug, and wait until blades, shafts, and every moving part stop fully.
Identify removable parts
Check the manual for user-removable container, lid, pusher, screen, and blade parts.
Separate parts safely
Follow the listed direction and hold blade assemblies only at the manufacturer’s safe grip, never the edge.
Remove pulp and residue
Use a scraper or soft brush on the container and screen while keeping fingers away from blades and sharp mesh.
Wash washable parts
Use warm water, mild dish soap, and soft tools. Dishwasher suitability is model-specific.
Wipe the motor base
Use a wrung cloth on the body and controls; never immerse, rinse, or flood the connector.
Dry, reassemble, and inspect
Dry every part and refit correctly. Stop using damaged blades, locks, or wiring.
