A toilet product labelled sodium hypochlorite or NaOCl remains chlorine bleach; other toilet cleaners are a separate category. Similar packaging never makes cleaners interchangeable or mixable. Confirm a non-bleach disinfectant from its original ingredient and use label; products containing sodium hypochlorite remain bleach. Toilet cleaner, disinfectant and bleach are not interchangeable and must never be mixed.
Common Hong Kong household uses
Only for bleaching or disinfecting surfaces the product label permits. Remove visible soil first, then measure and dilute with cold water as the label or Centre for Health Protection guidance requires.
