What is it?
A traditional string mop has a head made from cotton, blended-fibre or microfibre strands. The exact material varies, so check the package or replacement-head label.
How to identify it
Look for many thick flexible strands joined to the end of a long handle. It is not a flat mop with one broad pad held against the floor.
