What is it?
Floor cleaner is a household chemical labelled for particular floor surfaces. Compatible materials, concentration, dilution and rinsing requirements vary by product.
How to identify it
Accept only an original label that clearly states floor use and compatible surfaces. Do not infer identity from bottle colour, liquid colour or fragrance.

Common confusion
Kitchen Degreaser / Glass Cleaner
Floor cleaner, kitchen degreaser and glass cleaner may use similar bottles; only the original label establishes purpose and compatible surfaces.
Common Hong Kong household uses
Clean tile, resilient flooring, stone or another surface only when the label authorizes it.
Preparation or handling
Read the complete original label first. If an SDS is supplied or available from the supplier or manufacturer, consult it as supplementary safety information. Follow only the labelled floor, dose, dilution, rinsing and protection directions, ventilate, and never mix cleaners.
Storage
Keep closed and upright in its original labelled container, away from food, heat, children and pets. Never transfer it to a food or drink container.
Helper tip
Do not use it when the original label, ingredients or safety directions are missing or unreadable. Never invent a dilution, mixture or substitute use.

用之前先睇原裝標籤；如果有附上或者搵到安全資料表，亦要睇埋。開窗，唔好同任何清潔劑溝埋。The employer makes the original label primary; an SDS is also checked when supplied or otherwise available. Ventilation is provided and cleaners are never mixed.
