What is it?
Glass cleaner is defined by its labelled purpose. Formulas vary and may contain alcohol, isopropanol, ammonia or other ingredients, so the complete original label is the authority.
How to identify it
Accept only an intact original container clearly labelled glass cleaner, window cleaner or an equivalent glass use. Never guess from blue liquid, a clear bottle or a trigger sprayer.

Common confusion
Glass cleaner and kitchen degreaser may both come in trigger bottles; only the original label establishes identity and compatible surfaces.
Common Hong Kong household uses
Clean glass as directed. Use on mirrors, stainless steel or other surfaces only when the label explicitly permits it.
Preparation or handling
Read the original label for ingredients, surfaces, dose, contact time, protection and ventilation. Open windows or ventilate, keep away from ignition sources and patch-test an inconspicuous area.
Storage
Keep closed in its original labelled container, upright in a cool ventilated place away from sunlight, heat, food and children.
Helper tip
Do not use a product with a missing or unreadable label or one transferred to another container. Never mix it with bleach or any other cleaner.
